Navigating the dark, puppet-infested streets of Krat in Lies of P requires more than just sharp combat reflexes. Throughout your journey, you will encounter hidden green doors marked with a distinct triangle symbol, known as Trinity Sanctums. To unlock these rooms and claim the valuable loot hidden inside, you must first solve cryptic riddles delivered by Arlecchino, the enigmatic King of Riddles, through ringing payphones scattered across the world.

How to Find and Answer the First Phone Riddles

The quest for these mysterious keys begins in Chapter II near the Krat City Hall Courtyard Stargazer. Before crossing the bridge that leads to the Workshop Union, you will hear a phone ringing down a right-hand pathway. Answering the call introduces you to Arlecchino, who presents a classic riddle about a creature that walks on different numbers of legs throughout its life. The correct answer to this opening puzzle is human, which rewards you with your very first Trinity Key.

Your second opportunity arises when exploring the dangerous alleys of the Malum District in Chapter V. After navigating the district and finding a ladder near the central courtyard, you will locate another ringing telephone booth. Arlecchino will test your wits once again by asking about something that is tall when young but short when old. Replying with the word candle solves the puzzle and grants you another key to advance your collection.

Solving the Grand Exhibition Statue Puzzle

The third telephone is located in Chapter VII inside the grand halls of the Grand Exhibition Gallery. After defeating a powerful blade-wielding robot that crashes through a gate, follow the ringing sound into a nearby corridor. Arlecchino will pose a riddle regarding something that can only be used after it breaks, to which the answer is an egg. However, unlike previous encounters, solving this phone riddle will not immediately put the item into your inventory.

To secure the actual key, you must solve a quick environmental puzzle located just down the stairs from the phone booth. You will spot a large central monument flanked by two smaller stone statues. Interacting with the statue on the right side twice will rotate it to perfectly mirror the opposite figure. Once the statues match, a secret compartment will click open inside the central monument, allowing you to finally retrieve your hard-earned prize.

Locating the Final Keys and the King of Riddles

The fourth puzzle phone is found during Chapter IX as you explore the ruined paths of Krat Central Station Street. Follow the primary road from the Stargazer and check the left fork at the junction to find the ringing receiver. The King of Riddles asks about a blue flower that bears fruit on man, and answering ergo successfully secures your fourth item. You can use these accumulated items to open sanctums in locations like the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel or the Estella Opera House.

The absolute final interaction takes place at the Relic of Trismegistus Entrance during Chapter X. This phone is perched on a high cliffside overlooking the pit that leads into the second Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss arena. Arlecchino will not give you a traditional brain teaser this time, but will instead demand a personal confession regarding Geppetto's creation. You can answer either yes or no during this conversation, as both options award a surprise box that yields the final chosen one key used to unlock the ultimate sanctum in the Arche Abbey Outer Wall.
